DalatWalks – explore Dalat on foot

One of the best ways to learn about a city is to join a walking tour. Finally! there’s Dalatwalks which recently operated in Dalat, a sister project of Saigonwalks.

Even though it’s easy to navigate Dalat, however, due to the language barrier, tour guides are there to walk you around, explore the story behind, give you historical and cultural insights into the key places in the city.

Dalatwalks tours are organized as community tours. The tour aims to bring a relaxed walking morning to all participants and listen to the stories of the city then and now in bilingual language (Vietnamese and English). They also help tour guides have income after a long time without work due to epidemic diseases.

Information:

The walking distance is about 2.5 km, going up and down the slope, within 2 hours and 30 minutes, within the downtown (Ward 1) of Dalat City. The tour is suitable for families and children above 5 years old.

The tour has a 15-minutes break to drink coffee or hot cocoa and cakes, the cost included in the ticket price. They don’t provide plastic bottles, instead encourage visitors to bring their own personal reusable bottles.

Schedule:

The tours opened depending on the host’s schedule. They try to do it every 2 weeks. 250,000 VND per pax

Participants can look for the tour schedule on Ticketbox or their FB account.

The program limited attendance to 15 people to ensure quality.

For private tours:

375.000 VND per pax (from 2-4 pax)

350.000 VND per pax (for group above 4 pax)
